Fish Steaks Parmesan
2 lb. halibut steaks
1 lemon, cut in half
2 tblsp. butter
2 tblsp. lour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp paprika
1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
Milk
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Place steaks in well greased baking pan. Squeeze lemon over steaks.
Melt butter in saucepan & stir in flour and seasonings, then remove
from heat.
Drain mushrooms, reserve liquid.
Add enough milk to reserved liquid to make 1 cup of liquid. Stir
into flour mixture slowly.
Return to heat & cook, stirring until thickened.
Pour over steaks & sprinkle with mushrooms and cheese.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
