Garlic Mashed Potatoes Recipe


Garlic Mashed Potatoes

3 lbs. potatoes (7 medium sized)
1 Cup heavy cream
1/2 Cup butter (1 stick)
1 tsp. fresh garlic minced
salt and pepper to taste

Peel potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes and boil in salted water until soft drain all water.

Mash potatoes and put into mixing bowl. Slowly whip w/electric mixer until smooth.

In medium saucepan, heat cream and butter until warm; add cream mixture to potatoes, mix for 2 minutes.

Add garlic and salt and pepper, mix for 1 minute.

Serve warm.
