Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe

   

Shrimp Fried Rice
 
1 Cup cooked rice
1 pound small shrimp (shelled and deveined)
3 Slices Bacon (cut into 1/2 inch pieces and fried until crisp) (Reserve bacon grease)
1 egg (fried in thin omelet and cut into thin strips)
2 cloves garlic (minced fine)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce

Heat bacon grease until very hot. Add shrimp, garlic, pepper and ginger. Sauté for 5 minutes.

Add onions and sauté for 5 minutes more.

Add cooked rice, eggs, bacon and soy sauce. Fry 10 minutes longer, stirring constantly.

Serve immediately.

Makes 5 small portions
