Cherry Coke Salad
1 can (1lb) bing cherries
1 can (1 lb 4 oz) crushed pineapple
1 large cherry jello
2 - (6 1/2 oz ea) containers of cola
Drain juice from fruit; add water if necessary to make 2 cups. Heat juice to
boiling; add jello, stir until dissolved. Cool; add cola and fruit.
Pour into 1-1/2 quart mold. Chill until set.
Serve with whipped cream.
2 20-oz, cans dark cherries, pitted
1 20-oz. can Crushed Pineapple
1 3-oz, pkg. cherry Jell-O
1 cup Coca-Cola
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Heat cherries and their juice to boiling. Remove from heat and stir in Jell-O.
Add pineapple with its juice and all. Pour in the coke and nuts.
Let cool, then refrigerate until set.
Tip: This is pretty in a 6-cup oiled mold.
