Tray Game with a Twist
The basic tray game is played like this:
Place a number of baby items on a tray. (Usually about 20). Slowly circle the
room allowing each guest a chance to examine the items. Remove the tray from the
room and see who can remember the most items on a paper in 2 minutes. Usually
the items on the tray go to the expectant mom and the winner gets another little
gift.
A really fun twist to this game is to have another guest carry the tray around.
Everyone has done the basic tray game so they assume that the object is to
memorize the items on the tray, however in this game, when the chosen guest
takes the tray out of the room, she stays out too. Have the guest add some baby
items to the clothes she has on. A diaper pin on her shirt, a q - tip
behind her ear, a baby bracelet with a small rattle attached, and her corsage.
Then after everyone has their answers, ask them your surprise questions. The
guests never expect this and it is a lot of fun!
