Pastrami Sandwiches Recipe

1/2 C. watercress large stems removed
4 oz. pastrami chopped finely
1/4 C. cottage cheese
2 t. mayonnaise
salt and pepper
4 slices light rye bread
3 T. softened butter

Garnish with watercress sprigs

In a small bowl mix together watercress, pastrami, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

Butter slices of bread. Spread the pastrami mixture on 2 slices of the bread. Cover with remaining slice of bread and press together lightly.

Cut off crusts of bread. Cut each sandwich into 4 triangles. Arrange on a platter and garnish with watercress.
