Words of Wisdom

Guests can get pretty bored waiting for the bride to open gifts.

Before my friend started to open her gifts, I told the guests that they would have to offer some "words of wisdom" to the bride. When the bride opened a gift, the person giving the gift had to advise the bride on ways to a long and happy marriage. I was amazed at how much thought people put into this.

As she opened the gifts, I recorded what she got from whom, and their wonderful "words of wisdom."

When the bride writes her thank you cards she will always have something special to reflect back on.
