Jannie�s French Onion Soup Add 10 c water and 6 beef bullion cubes OR I prefer, 10 c low sodium beef broth. Simmer , partially covered for 30 minutes. Add salt , pepper to taste. Serve with a slice of French bread in the bowl and Parmesan cheese on the side or a slice of swiss or provolone or gruyere on top broiled under the broiler till melted and slightly browned.
