Harvest Pumpkin Corn Bisque
I really liked this. I had made Aunt Arlene's Meatloaf the day before, so I
made a nice loaf of ABM White Bread and served this soup with a 1/2 meatloaf
sandwich. Easy, delicious and like hubby said "nice for fall". ;~)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn in butter sauce
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (16 ounce can) pumpkin (2 cups)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
2 cups half and half
In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except half and half. Bring to boil,
stirring frequently. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in half
and half. Heat gently, stirring frequently. DO NOT BOIL.
6 (1 cup) servings.
