2 (16-ounce) cans sauerkraut, drained
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
16 ounces cooked corned beef, shredded or chopped
4 cups Swiss cheese, shredded orsliced
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Thousand Island dressing
1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
1/2 stick butter
2 slices rye bread, chopped in food processor
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Layer sauerkraut, onion, corned beef and cheese in 13-by-9-inch dish. Mix mayonnaise and dressing and spread over top of casserole. Sprinkle with chopped pickles.
3. Melt butter and stir in rye bread crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole.
4. Bake 30 minutes.
