Sweet Potato Apple Casserole Lay all slices of sweet potatoes, overlapping, on bottom of pan. Cover with layer of all the apples. Top this with the mini-marshmallows. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle over base in pan. Stir together cornstarch and water. Pour over pan contents. Dot with butter. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Let cool slightly and serve. |
