Fried Dill Pickles
1 cup cornmeal
2 eggs beaten
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 Tbls. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. Mrs Dash seasoning
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. cayenne
1 Qt. sliced drained dill pickles
Oil for frying
salt and pepper to taste
In one bowl combine 2 eggs, 1/4 cup flour, milk, worcestershire, hot sauce,
cayenne, Mrs. Dash, and garlic powder. Mix well.
In another bowl combine the cornmeal, 2 cups of flour, salt and pepper. Mix
well.
Heat oil in fryer to 350.
Dip drained pickles into milk mixture; then dredge in flour mix.
Deep fry until golden or pickles float to the top.
Salt and pepper to taste. |
