Ribs with BBQ Rum Sauce
4 lbs. spareribs
1/4 c ketchup
1 ts dry mustard
1/4 c dark rum
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c soy sauce
1/2 c chili sauce
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
1 dash pepper
Wrap ribs in double thickness of foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours at
350 . Unwrap and drain drippings. Combine all ingredients and pour
over ribs. Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.
Bake at 350 for 30 min., basting with sauce, or
grill 30 min., turning and basting. |
