Lasagna
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
1 14 ounce can tomatoes
2 6 ounce cans tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 bay leaf
1 box lasagna noodles cooked
8 ounces cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
2 to 3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
Brown ground beef, onions and garlic; drain. Add to crockpot
with tomatoes, tomato paste, salt oregano, thyme and bay leaf.
Cook above ingredients on low 10 to 12 hours.
In 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan put a thin layer of
sauce, noodles and cheeses. Repeat until pan is full. Top with
Mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Let stand 15
minutes.
