Dilly Beef Stroganoff
In skillet cook
1 lb. ground beef
1 C. chopped onion
1 C. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat.
Stir in
3/4 C. beef broth
1/2 C. dry red wine
1/2 C. catsup
2 T. snipped parsley
1/2 t. dried dillweed
1/2 t. salt
dash pepper
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Cook 8 oz. medium noodles in boiling salted water; drain.
Blend together
1 C. dairy sour cream
1 T. all-purpose flour
stir into beef mixture in skillet. Cook and stir until thickened (do not boil).
Add cooked noodles to beef mixture in skillet; heat through. Sprinkle individual
servings with grated parmesan cheese.
Makes 6 servings.
