1 package yellow cake mix, batter prepared per package directions

3 ounce package strawberry flavored gelatin powder

16 ounce box frozen sliced strawberries, slightly thawed

2/3 cup cold water

cool whip for serving

Spread 10 oz. package of mini marshmallows in a single layer to cover the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Next spread prepared yellow cake mix over that. Sprinkle with a 3 oz. box of strawberry jello powder (on top of the wet cake batter). Drop spoonfuls of the strawberries over the top of everything. Drizzle 2/3 cup cold water over all without stirring; bake at 350� F. for 60 minutes. Let cake cool for 30 minutes before cutting. Serve with cool whip if desired.
