Fancy Strawberry Nut Salad

1 pkg (6oz) strawberry Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
2 pkg (10 oz each) frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
3 medium bananas, sliced
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2 cups dairy sour cream

In a large bowl, stir together gelatin and boiling water until gelatin is dissolved. Chill until partially set. Stir in strawberries, crushed pineapple, bananas and walnuts. Turn 1/2 of mixture into 3 qt (13x9-in) dish.

Place in freezer for 10 to 12 minutes or until firm. Spread with sour cream. Spoon remaining strawberry mixture over sour cream.

Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or until firm.
