Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt together well in an
ungreased 9x9 inch square pan. Add milk, oil, and vanilla to dry
ingredients and stir well with a fork. Stir in the chopped nuts.
Spread batter evenly in the pan.
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cups hot tap water
Sprinkle brown sugar and cocoa over batter. Pour hot water over the
top of the batter. Bake at 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm
with ice cream or sweetened whipped cream. |
