Banana Nut Oatmeal Bread
1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons powdered buttermilk
1 cup quick cooking oats
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup steel cut oats
1/3 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1. Soak the steel cut oats in the boiling water until the mixture is at room
temperature.
2. Place ingredients in order suggested by your manufacturer. Select fruit and
nut or basic setting. Add walnuts when indicated by your manufacturer. |
