Italian Onion Herb Bread
Bread Machine Instructions
Yield: 1 (1 1/2-pound) loaf.
3 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 3/4 cups Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian herb seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons FLEISCHMANN's Bread Machine Yeast
Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons of the oil in a small skillet. Add onion; cook and stir
until onion is translucent.
Add water, milk, remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons oil, the onion mixture, salt, flour,
brown sugar, Italian herb seasoning and yeast to bread machine pan in the order
suggested by manufacturer. Select basic cycle; medium/normal color setting.
