Chocolate "Oh My" Brownies

3 1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
12 TBSP unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs, at room temperature
3/4 cups plus 2 TBSP all purpose flour
1/2 cup plus 2 TBSP chopped walnuts
1 1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 8" square pan.

Melt 3 1/2 oz chocolate and butter in double boiler over simmering water, cool mixture for 5 minutes.

Add vanilla. With mixer on medium-low speed, add eggs, one at a time, blending until completely mixed between eggs. After last egg, scrape bowl and mix until velvety.

Add flour on low speed, mix for about 20 seconds, then finish mixing by hand. Be sure that no flour is stuck on bottom of the bowl. Mix in 1/2 cup of the nuts.

Spread batter evenly in pan, sprinkle with last 2 TBSP of nuts.

Melt remaining chocolate in double boiler.

Pour evaporated milk into a bowl and add sugar to the melted chocolate. Blend on low speed, add chocolate mixture until it thickens.
