Peanut Butter Brownies
"These Peanut Butter brownies taste more like little Reeses Peanut Butter
cakes."
3 eggs
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sugar
1-1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1-cup chocolate chips
Filling
2 packages cream cheese softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, butter and vanilla. Combine all your dry
ingredients together in a separate bowl then add to egg mixture; mix well. Stir
in chocolate chips. Save back one cup of the batter for the top. Spread
remaining batter in a greased 13 inch baking pan.
In a small bowl, beta cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar until smooth. Add
egg and milk, beating on low just until mixed. Carefully spread over the batter.
Then drop the reserve batter by spoonfuls over the topping mixture and spread.
Using a knife make swirls through out your mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out
clean.
Cool on a wire rack before cutting so they stay together in nice squares. "I
like to refrigerate mine; they taste even yummier cold."
This recipe makes around 3 dozen. AUTHOR: Lori A |
