Ding Dong Cake
1 box Duncan Hines devil's food cake mix
1 can milk chocolate frosting
FILLING:
2/3 cup Crisco shortening
1/3 cup Pet milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Prepare cake in two layers as directed on the box.
Filling: Combine first five ingredients and beat for five minutes. Add powdered
sugar and beat three-four minutes longer. Spread between layers. Frost cake with
one can milk chocolate frosting. |
