Yam Apple Bake In large bowl, combine yams, 1 cup rice, 1/4 cup brown sugar, honey, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well. Gently fold in apples. Pour into prepared casserole. In small bowl, combine flour and 1/4 cup brown sugar; mix well. Using fork, cut in butter until crumbly; stir in 1/4 cup rice. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serves 8 to 10. |
