Avocado-Chicken Dip
6 3/4 Oz Canned Chicken - Drained And Flaked
1 Md Ripe avocado - Peeled And Chopped
1 Sm Tomato - Peeled And Chopped
1/4 C Onion - Chopped
2 Tb Jalapeno - Chopped
1 Clove Garlic - Minced
1/2 C Sour Cream
1/4 C Milk
2 Tb Mayonnaise
2 Ts Lemon juice
1/4 T Dried Oregano - Crushed
1/8 T Salt
Avocado slices (optional)
Tortilla Chips
In a mixing bowl stir together the canned chicken, chopped avocado, seeded and
chopped tomato, chopped onion, seeded and chopped pickled jalapeno peppers, and
minced garlic.
Stir in the sour cream, milk, mayonnaise or salad dressing, lemon juice, dried
oregano, and salt. Stir till ingredients are thoroughly combined. Cover and
chill till serving time.
If desired, garnish the dip with avocado slices. Serve with tortilla chips. |
