Range Fire Dip
2 cups refried beans or 1 (17-oz.) can refried beans
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 canned jalape�o peppers, finely chopped or 1 (4-oz.) can diced green chilies
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
Saute onion in butter. Add beans and chilies. Stir frequently over low heat
until hot and bubbly. Just before serving, add cheeses.
Makes 2 cups of dip.
