Blackened Ribeye

4 Rib eye Steaks - each cut 3/4 inch thick
1 cup butter
Blackened Seasoning mix

Blackened Seasoning Mix:
Caution - Smoke Hazard!
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon white pepper
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon onion powder

Heat iron skillet on flame until skillet is very hot. Coat both sides of steaks with Blackened Seasoning. Drop butter on skillet and quickly stir it around until melted (be careful of flames).

Place steaks on skillet and cook under high heat for three minutes on each side, ONLY flip once. Immediately remove and serve.

Serves: 4
