Refrigerator Pickles
Dissolve 2 cups sugar in 1 cup cider vinegar.
Pour over 9 cups unpeeled, sliced cucumbers, 2 tablespoons salt,
1 tablespoon celery seed, 1 cup green pepper sliced and 1 cup
onions, sliced. Let stand one hour.
Put in container and let stand in refrigerator for one to two
days. |
