Cranberry Bog French Toast
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 teaspoons cinnamon
4 tart apples
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 loaf french bread, 1 inch slices
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Combine brown sugar, butter and 1 tsp of cinnamon into 13x9 inch baking pan.

Add cranberries and peeled and sliced apples. Toss to coat well. Arrange bread slices on top. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, 2 tsp cinnamon in a separate bowl. Pour mixture over bread, soaking bread completely.

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered with foil for 40 minutes in a preheated 375-degree oven. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

Serves: 6
