Custard French Toast
"The big secret to this recipe is that the bread must be very dense, very
thickly sliced, and must have soaked overnight. Everybody tells me it is the best
French Toast in the world!" ...Victoria Farmer

10 eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup apricot nectar

Mix the ingredients together. Pour the mixture over the bread.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate it overnight.
In a large nonstick skillet, place the butter and canola oil, and heat them on
medium until the butter is melted and hot. Add the bread slices and cook them
