Basic Lemonade
1/2 C. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 C. superfine sugar (see note)
2 C. cold water, spring water preferred
Ice cubes (2 or 3 per glass)
Combine lemon juice and sugar. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Add cold water
and stir again.
Pour over ice in tall glasses. Serve with a straw, if desired.
Note: Superfine sugar is very fine granulated sugar. It comes packaged, or make
it by grinding granulated sugar in the blender or food processor for about 5
seconds.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
