Date Rolls

3 cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped nuts

Bring sugar and milk to boil, continue cooking to soft stage (234�F).

Stir in dates and nuts.

When cool enough to handle, form these ingredients into a roll with buttered hands. Wrap the roll in tin foil.

Chill and slice later.
