Herbes De Provence
2 tablespoons dried basil
4 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
2 teaspoons dried tarragon
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried savory
1 1/2 teaspoons bay leaves -- crushed
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1 teaspoon dried mint
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried lavender -- optional
Combine basil, oregano, marjoram, tarragon, thyme, savory, bay
leaves, fennel, mint sage, rosemary and, if desired the lavender.
Put in a blender or food processor; whirl till fine. Store air
tight.
Makes about 7 tablespoons. |
