Dutch Baby
2 large eggs
1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
1 tsp. lemon juice
confectioner's sugar
1-1/2 pints strawberries, or any fruit, sliced
sour cream
brown sugar
ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 450�. Grease 9-inch round cake pan.
In large bowl, beat eggs until well blended.
Sift together the sifted flour and salt into another bowl. Add flour mixture and
milk to the eggs and beat until smooth. Stir in the butter.
Pour into cake pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350�, prick the shell
with fork, and bake for 20 minutes more.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with lemon juice and confectioner's sugar. Fill
with fruit. Top with a large dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with brown sugar
and cinnamon. Serve at once.
