Fresh Strawberry Pie

1 1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 (3-oz.) box strawberry gelatin
1 (9-in.) baked pie shell

Cook water, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat, add the gelatin mix and let cool. Add strawberries and pour in pie shell.

You also can do this pie with peaches, using peach gelatin.
