Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie

1 quart vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup chopped peanuts, divided
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 graham cracker pie crust or regular baked pastry shell

Mix ice cream with 1/4 cup chopped peanuts and all the peanut butter and vanilla extract.

Scoop mix into pie shell and garnish with remaining chopped peanuts.

Freeze until ready to serve.

Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
