Apple Batter Pudding Dessert
Pudding:
3 cups Apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup hot water
Place the apples in a 1 1/2 qt. casserole or 8x8-in. pan. Sprinkle sugar over
apples, dot with butter and pour hot water over apples. Add the batter.
Batter:
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Beat eggs and sugar together, add the melted butter. Sift together flour, baking
powder and salt and add to egg mixture. Pour batter over the apples.
Bake 40 minutes in 350�F. oven.
To serve, spoon out of casserole.
Makes 6-8 servings. |
