Strawberry Pudding
1-1/2 qts. of sliced strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 (3-oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
2 (3.4-oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 cups cold sweet milk
1 cup sour cream (8-oz. container)
1 large tub of Cool Whip
1 box of vanilla wafers
Slice 1-1/2 qts. of strawberries. Combine strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and
1 (3 oz.) box of strawberry Jell-O and stir constantly over medium heat until
the Jell-O dissolves. Let it cool.
Mix 2 (3.4-oz.) boxes of instant vanilla pudding with 3 cups cold sweet milk and
fold in a cup of sour cream and 1/2 carton of Cool Whip.
In a glass dish, spread a thin layer of pudding; follow with a layer of vanilla
wafers and a layer of the Jell-O and strawberries mixture. Repeat the layers and
top with remaining Cool Whip. Chill. |
