Beets a l'Orange
2 jar (16 oz.) tiny size whole beets 3 Tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. grated orange rind 2/3 cup orange juice 6 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup margarine or butter Dissolve cornstarch in reserved liquid. Add orange rind, orange juice, lemon juice and sugar. Cook, stirring until thickened and translucent. Add beets and butter. Heat until warmed. |
