Green Chili Cheese Dip

Four 8 oz. packages cream cheese
3 C. sour cream
4 C. picante sauce
Four 7 oz. cans green chilies, chopped and drained
16 oz. jar diced pimentos, drained
12 C. cheddar cheese, shredded
8 cloves fresh garlic minced
hot pepper sauce to taste
4 t. chili powder

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add picante sauce, green chilies, pimentos, garlic, chili powder and hot sauce. Fold in the shredded cheese until combined. Taste to adjust seasonings.

Serve as a dip for chips or as a topping for burritos and tacos.

As a dip this will serve about 48 people.
