Meat Ball Pie
6 lbs. hamburger
6 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. salt
1 cup chili sauce
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tbsp. salt
2 qts. vegetable juice
biscuit mix
Mix hamburger, eggs, salt, chili sauce, and milk. Form into balls 1
1/2 inches in diameter. Brown in 1/2 cup cooking oil. Remove balls
and drain. To drippings in pan, add 1 1/2 cups flour and 2
tablespoons salt, mixing thoroughly. Add 2 quarts vegetable juice.
Stir until thick. Divide meat balls in 2 pans and add 1 1/2 quarts
mixed vegetables to each pan. Top each pan with biscuit mix and bake
at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
