Pear Bread 1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
12 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 c yogurt or buttermilk
1 c coarsely chopped cored pears
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter; gradually beat in sugar with electric mixer. Beat in eggs, one at
a time.
Combine dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture alternately with yogurt. Stir in
pears and vanilla.
Pour into buttered 9" loaf pan.
Bake 350� 1 hour. |
