Apple Butter

14 cooking apples
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon cloves
1 teaspoon allspice

Wash and core apples; cut in 1/4 pieces. Slightly grease crockpot, put in apples and apple juice.

Cook on high for 5 hours. Add other ingredients and cook for 6 hours on high. Stir each hour. Pack in 1/2 pint jars and seal.

Makes 5 1/2 pint jars.
