Wild Rice Almond Casserole
2 cups wild rice, uncooked
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
8 ounces mushroom pieces, drained
6 cups vegetable broth
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon parsley
Wash and drain rice. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Mix well. Cover.
Cook on low 4 to 6 hours or until rice is finished. Do not
remove lid before rice has cooked 4 hours. |
