Cranberry Pie

1 unbaked 9" pie shell

1/2 C. brown sugar

1 1/2 C. raw or frozen cranberries

1/3 C. chopped walnuts

1/3 C. soft butter

1/2 C. white sugar

1 beaten egg

1/2 C. flour

Put cranberries in pie shell. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Set aside.

Topping: beat butter, sugar, egg and flour together until well mixed. Spread carefully over cranberry nut mixture. Bake at 350 F. for 35-45 minutes or until top is lightly browned.

Serve plain or with whipped cream
