Love You Hot Fudge Pudding Cake Recipe
Batter:
2 C. flour
1/3 C. unsweetened cocoa
4 t. baking powder
1 2/3 C. sugar
1 C. walnuts, chopped (opt)
1 C. milk
1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
2 t. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350�F. Spray a 9 x 13 pan. Whisk first 4 ingredients together.
Add nuts. Whisk milk, butter and vanilla together. Pour over dry ingredients and
blend well. Pour into pan.
Sauce:
1 C. sugar
1 C. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 C. plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1-3/4 C. very hot water
Whisk sugars together. Gradually add water and stir until smooth. Gently pour
over batter. Bake about 40 minutes, until cake is firm to touch. Don't overbake.
To serve: Spoon fudge sauce from bottom over each piece. Great with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Serves 12 - 15. Store, covered, in refrigerator.
