Rosemary Cheese Biscuits
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup veg butter or margarine
1 cup plain soy milk
1/2 cup soy Cheddar style cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon crushed rosemary leaves
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon sage
1 tablespoon rubbed thyme
Preheat your oven to 375F. In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients
together in any order you please and stir by hand until all the ingredients are
well mixed and form a nice dough.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet, and cook
for about 10 to 12 minutes.
The biscuits are done when the bottoms are nicely browned.
The tops will still be white. |
