Chocolate Delight Bars

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons water
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 ounces butterscotch morsels
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups nuts, fine chopped
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350�F.

Beat butter, egg yolk and water until blended. Stir in flour, 1 tsp sugar and baking powder.

Press into a 13x9 inch baking pan and bake at 350�F for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with butterscotch and chocolate morsels. Return pan to oven for 1-2 minutes.

Remove from oven and smooth the morsels.

Beat 2 eggs with sugar until lemony in color. Stir in melted butter and vanilla. Spread over chocolate layer and sprinkle with nuts.

Bake for 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into small squares.
