Mocha Walnuts Recipe
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 C. sour cream
1 T. instant coffee
1/2 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
1 t. vanilla
3 C. walnut halves
In a large saucepan, combine first 6 items, mixing well. Cook over medium heat,
stirring constantly, to soft ball stage (238� F.). Remove from heat and stir in
vanilla. Add nuts, stirring to coat.
Spread nuts on a buttered baking sheet. Cool and break into pieces. Store in
airtight container.
Makes about 4 1/2 cups nuts.
