Oh Look! It's Santa....

It looks like Santa is inviting us in, let's go have a look.

I wonder if that is Santa's Book with all the names of the good little boys and girls. Mrs. Claus has offered to take us into her kitchen to see what she has cooking. She's been busy making gifts "From Her Kitchen".  Let's go see what's going on.

Mrs. Claus says now that we have seen her kitchen and grabbed a few recipes, she'd like to show us her Christmas Tree. Maybe have a cup of tea?

Santa's Chocolate Spoons

6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
4 oz. milk chocolate pieces
20 to 24 plastic spoons

Melt semisweet chocolate over very low heat. Stir until it is smooth.

Dip spoons into chocolate. Tap spoons on side of pan to knock off excess. Place on a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper. Refrigerate up to 20 minutes to allow chocolate to harden.

Melt milk chocolate the same as above. Allow to cool slightly. Drizzle the milk chocolate over the spoon tops. You can use a plastic bag that has a corner snipped off, if you desire.

Wrap each spoon separately and tie with a ribbon for gift giving. They look great in a mug.

Makes 20-24.

1 t. almond extract
1 t. cinnamon
3/4 C. powdered sugar
